Suzie is the sole owner and operator of Mistique Makeup. She has been a freelance makeup artist for many years, excelling in fashion makeup lines such as YSL, Armani, Lancome, Neutrogena, Loreal, Laura Mercier and others.
Suzie’s exceptional talent and fashion acumen began at Saks Fifth Avenue. Shortly after being associated with Saks as a bridal consultant, the makeup account executives quickly took notice of Suzie’s dynamic and skilled instincts and artistic talent, as evidenced by her client loyalty and extensive referral network. Suzie moved on to become a freelance makeup artist because of her amazing artistic skill and ability.
Suzie continues to hone her artistic skills and talents by steadfastly staying on the “cutting edge” of the industry technology, having routinely attended state-of- the-art conventions in venues including Orlando, New York City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Staying on the cusp of the industry developments and innovations allows Suzie to further advance and refine her artistic and beauty techniques for her clients. She also enjoys mentoring younger makeup artists in their desires to enhance and serve clients to heighten their individual beauty.
While Suzie, a premier San Antonio makeup artist, enjoys regional notoriety from her clients, she is frequently called upon to utilize her skills at the national level—working with clients associated with Fox Network and ESPN Sports. She has been recognized for her talents locally in both print and media publications consisting of City Pages Magazine and the San Antonio Living Show on WOAI TV.
